What is LideKick?
LideKick is a desktop app that shows your stream info over the game screen, made for Twitch streamers.
I stream myself, and whenever I got absorbed in a game, I'd miss the chat — but I couldn't find an app that did quite what I wanted, so I built one, thinking it would be nice to read chat without looking away from the game.
It floats semi-transparent info panels on your desktop, so you can glance at viewer counts, followers, and chat comments while the game screen stays clear. You can stay focused on the stream and still keep up with your viewers.
The name is a blend of "Live" and "Sidekick." I hope it can be a good sidekick for streamers.
I build and run LideKick on my own, and I stream too. It's currently free to use, and I keep improving it while using it on my own streams.
Supported display modes: windowed / borderless windowed
(Borderless windowed is the default in most games, so it should just work. Only exclusive fullscreen is unsupported.)

Features
Stays out of your gameplay
Clicks pass straight through to the game. It always stays on top, but never takes your mouse or keyboard. Most of the time it sits there semi-transparent and quiet, so it doesn't block your view either.
Keeps up with your stream
You get a quiet notice on the game screen for new followers, sudden jumps in viewer count, and chat comments worth seeing, so you can check them without taking your eyes off the game. After a notice has been up for a while, it fades back to semi-transparent.
Fits your own style
Opacity, color, size, and position on screen are all yours to adjust, so you can leave it sitting quietly somewhere it won't get in the way.

Unlike the HUDs that sit over the game screen, this keeps all kinds of information together in one place.
- Arrange the widgets you want, however you like
- Set the window background color or image, and adjust widget opacity
- A good fit for gathering information on a landscape or portrait second display
